I've got some great news to share!
It's been a long year, and I've gone back and forth through bouts of Writer's Block.
I had originally intended to finish another manuscript first, however Amy from In Between had other ideas.
One day, a nursery rhyme popped into my head, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me"
Except it was all wrong, and came out "Sticks and stones may hide my bones, so they will never find me."
I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but then the story cracked wide open, with the help of some butterflies. Sorry, none of this makes sense to you, does it? I guess you'll just have to snag a copy of it when it comes out on 10/21/21 and find out for yourself!
